Naveen and Anu Jain established a scholarship available only to students currently enrolled as Computer Science or Computer Engineering majors at the University of Washington. The scholarship offers assistance to freshmen entering the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Business programs. Naveen Jain serves as the CEO and co-founder of Intelius, and founder of InfoSpace. He and Anu hold strong beliefs in giving back to the community and making a difference in other’s lives.
They hope that the award will encourage top students to attend UW and provide opportunities for students for a better future.
The award is based on academic performance and financial need. The Office of Student Financial Aid determines financial need, and the award amount will vary, according to the need of each recipient.
